Milwaukee Maternity Photography || Amber and Joe

Summer is just around the corner, and it seems like everyone is about ready to start bringing their little ones into the world. Amber and Joe, a great couple of mine from 2010 are having a little one in the next few weeks and they called upon me to make some maternity photographs. I normally don’t do maternity but I felt compelled to do it seeing as how I use them so much in advertising. We wandered around Milwaukee for nearly 3 hours and have a great time. We started off very urban and narrowly avoided a train before moving on to the lakefront and finishing off our day at lunch. Take one look at the photos and you will be able to see the love these two share. Heck, one of the first things Joe said when seeing the teaser shots was how beautiful his wife was. Enjoy some shots from their day.

Kenosha Wedding and Portrait Photographer || Featured in Kenosha News Bridal Guide

Hello everyone and happy almost spring! Sometime ago I was interviewed by the Kenosha News to include some information about wedding photography in the Kenosha area. They were doing their annual Bridal Guide and wanted photographers to spill the beans on some of the hot photo spots and what people should look for in a photographer. Below you will find the actual article. I am very excited to be featured and am honored to be able to share with others what makes a great location. I have had the honor of working with some amazing couples and they have allowed me to make every location look fabulous. With the 2012 season upon us I hope that every bride and groom out there is able to take a look at the article and get some ideas for their big day.

Here is the two pages from the article. Special thanks to Amber and Joe for having their images chosen to showcase the wonderful article. You can also find another of their images further on in the guide to advertise the Kenosha Public Museum.

Kenosha Engagement Photography || Elise and Jeremy

The new year is now upon us and life has finally calmed down for a bit. The candy and sweets are now gone and I’m finishing through the last bits of albums for my wonderful clients of 2011. I thought now would be a great time to also post some of the great wedding and engagement sets I hadn’t shown yet. So to kick it off we have the wonderful engagement of Elise and Jeremy. These two are actually my 50th wedding couple so that already makes them very special. They told me they didn’t want any cheesy or overdone shots. I was happy to oblige seeing as how I’m not a fan of the cheese myself. We went out to Petrifying Springs park on a brisk day in late fall. If you count the last 2 months though it was actually more in the middle of fall. LOL.

Enjoy some shots from their day.

Kenosha Engagement Photography || Brittainy and Cory

I met this wonderful couple through my bride Lisa from earlier this year. Turns out Brittainy (yes the spelling is correct ;-) ) is her hair stylist. The day we picked for the engagement session was a bit cold and overcast but we met in the downtown section of Kenosha by Library park. I wanted to use some space I hadn’t yet used this year. These two were really fun to work with and honestly admitted up front they didn’t know what to do in front of the camera. I think you can tell from the photos that they are naturals and it didn’t take them long to relax behind the camera and enjoy themselves. Just another reason why I include engagement sessions will all my collections. The more we understand each other now the easier it will be on the wedding day.

Here are some samples of their session. Congrats you two!

Port Washington Engagement Photography || Katie and Eric

The winds were cold and blowing hard the nice Sunday afternoon we met with Katie and Eric. Port Washington was our destination, and it was quick nice save for the billowing wind. We took shelter among the buildings and different buildings in the downtown and it made for some cute photos. We still did manage to get some great lighthouse shots near the end. We only got accosted by one fisherman. These two are all smiles with each other and so much fun to work with.  Their wedding will be in June of 2012 at The Bog country club and golf course. I’m looking forward to it as I have never shot there before.

Here are some samples from their gallery. Enjoy and congratulations you two.

Kenosha Wedding Photography || Sarah and Aaron

Whew! The wedding season has now finished and I can finally catch up. Way back in the end of September I shot the wedding of Sarah and Aaron. They are a really fun couple who have been together since High School. Sarah’s shoes were actually the pair she wore to her first dance with Aaron. Their wedding party was the largest one I have had in a couple of years. 10 people on each side made for an eventful day but I know each and every person was special to them so it made it all the better. The rain came hard after the ceremony and it even began to hail when we arrived at Lincoln Park for pictures. Un-phased we went down to the lakefront and got some simply amazing photos with the dark stormy clouds for a backdrop. Truly a one of a kind moment. Here are some highlights from their day. Enjoy. Congratulations you two.
